At the heart of the historic city, the House of the States General (fifteenth century) is one of the most representative buildings of architectural Chinon, which covers five centuries of rich history. Restored in 1970, it contains a collection of works and objects illustrating the history of the city and its region, from prehistory to the nineteenth century.
