Built at the turn of the century as the baths of the Egyptian royal family, the Windsor was for years a colonial British officers club before becoming a hotel.

Purchased by a Swiss hotelier as an annex of the legendary Shepherds Hotel, our rooms retain today an ambience of faded grandeur. Our famous Barrel Bar remains a popular Cairo rendezvous and the hotel has been featured in several international films for its unique charm.
