- At the Autobahnkreuz (motorway interchange) Oberhausen change onto the A2 in the direction of Hanover
- At the Autobahnkreuz Bottrop change onto the A31 in the direction of Emden and then take the exit at Ahaus/Legden

Coming from the direction of Bremen/Osnabrück:
- Take the A30 motorway in the direction of Rheine and exit at Rheine Nord
- Continue on the B70 towards Neunkirchen/Wettringen/Metelen/Schöppingen
- At the stop sign continue straight, then turn left towards Legden

- Take the A1 in the direction of Münster and at the Autobahnkreuz Münster Süd change onto the A43 towards Dülmen and take the exit towards Dülmen/Coesfeld

Coming from the direction of Hanover/Bielefeld:
- Take the A2 motorway in the direction of Oberhausen/Duisburg and at the Autobahnkreuz Bottrop change onto the A31 in the direction of Emden until the exit Ahaus/Legden
