Kolonna Hotel Riga is located in the very centre of the Old Town of Riga, in a building on Tirgonu Street that dates back to the 14th century.

Originally, German merchants constructed these buildings as homes close to the Dom Square. Over the years, many reconstructions were performed and the style of the houses changed significantly. In June 2005, this particular building was reopened as a hotel.A breakfast room is located in the arched cellar, which can be used for seminars as well.

For Old Riga, special permission is needed to park. Car parking facilities can be found near the City Municipality building at the Daugava River.

By Train:
The central train and bus station is located in the centre of Riga, 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel.

By Plane:
The hotel is situated 8.6 km from Riga International Airport (RIX). Take bus number 22 towards the city centre. The journey will take around 30 minutes. The nearest bus station to the hotel is 11 Krastmala Street (200 metres). Alternatively, you can also take a taxi from the airport. The price to the Old Riga is LVL 10 (EUR 14), except for between 21:00 and 07:00 (cost LVL 15 / EUR 21).
