Montagna Delmondo (formerly Hotel Kasteelsteeg) is situated in the centre of Valkenburg at the foot of the mountain Cauberg. It is less then 1 minute walk of the famous public cave (gemeentegrot) and surrounded by the shopping area, Thermea 2000 (cure resort) and attractions as amusement park 'De Valkenier' and Holland Casino. The attractive family run hotel has it's own restaurant and a new owner since November 2006.

The attractive family run hotel has it's own restaurant and a new owner since November 2006.Next to the entrance of the 'Kasteelruimte' there is a small alley, the 'geitegatz'. Around 1600 his alley was used tot bring goats to what today is a ruine. This renowned alley is now called the 'Kasteelsteeg' (castle alley), which has inspired us at the reorganisation of our hotel.
Montagna Delmondo is situated in the heart of Valkenburg at walking distance from a.o. the Casino, Thermae 2000, 'De Valkenier', 'De Heunsberg' and the many other attractions in Valkenburg a/d Geul rijk. This is a perfect base for you journey through nature with its many attractive sides. There are plenty of possibilities to rent a bike or to get to know this unique spot by means of a walking map.

Both the exterior and interior of our hotel were refurbished in 1996. The atmosphere of our hotel is now better adjusted to today's wishes. All of our rooms are equipped with bath, toilet, colour television and a freshly decorated interior.

Take from the A2 Maastricht the Exit Valkenburg. Follow the signs Valkenburg. When you enter Valkenburg follow the signs Cauberg. Please contact the reception to get access to the 24 hours secure covered car parking.

From Valkenburg Station you can take the shuttle bus, stop "gemeentegrot".
