From Utrecht,South Netherlands, Belgium, France, Great Britain,German Ruhr Area A2 Utrecht direction Amsterdam. Exit A9 Haarlem/Schiphol/Alkmaar. Past Schiphol Airport and 'Badhoevedorp'.
From East Netherlands, Mid Germany, Scandinavia A1 to Amsterdam. Before Amsterdam take exit A9 Haarlem/Schiphol/Alkmaar. Go past Schiphol Airport and 'Badhoevedorp' From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT Follow signs A4 Utrecht/Amsterdam/Haarlem > Exit A9 Badhoevedorp/Haarlem ON THE A9 take exit A200 Haarlem/Halfweg at 'Rottepolderplein' direction Haarlem. At the end of this road (N200) at the 'Amsterdam gate' turn right at the traffic light direction Alkmaar/Bloemendaal/Zandvoort. After passing underneath the railway bridge turn left ,go over the bridge and straight on, with the railway station to your immediate left, turn left direction 'Centrum' Underneath the railway bridge and after the traffic light, the Hotel is at your right hand.
From North Netherlands, North Germany, Scandinavia, Alkmaar direction A9 Amsterdam/Haarlem Exit A208 IJmuiden/Haarlem Noord. Right after the tunnel take exit A208 Haarlem.
From Newcastle (SCANDINAVIAN SEAWAYS) Take exit A208 Haarlem Continue this road into Haarlem. At the 4th traffic light, with sportfields to your left, you turn left. At the, small, roundabout turn right. Follow this road untill you reach the railway station. At this traffic light turn right. Underneath the railway bridge and after the traffic light, the Hotel is at your right hand.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT The hotel is situated opposite the Haarlem railway station and Airport shuttlebus terminal. ATTENTION !!! On the street, paid parking applies from 9 AM till 9 PM. The public parking garage is the first street to your left at the end on your left. Approx. 150 mtr from the Hotel. A2 & A9 have 24 hrs speedcontrol !!!. When in trouble, follow any city coach to the station, marked 'HAARLEM NS' and/or follow the signs 'VVV-Tourist office' Golden Tulip Hotel restaurant Lion d?Or is situated in the city center, opposite the railway station and busterminal. |
