The magazine's list includes 150 hotels selected from 600 semi-finalists. The Blue Moon is especially honored to be one of only three New York City hotels listed by the magazine.

This hotel leads the resurgence of the landmark old downtown neighborhoods of Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho, the Financial District. The hotel, an outstanding architectural structure, is centrally located on a museum block which more closely represents a back lot from MGM.

The hotel is located along cobble stone streets once occupied by push cart vendors, pickle packers, butchers, and bakers.
