How to get by car from direction Zurich to our hotel: Lucerne is already marked in Zurich. Follow the green sings (Highway). You pass the towns ?Adliswil?, Langnau? and ?Sihlbrugg?. Keep always the direction Lucerne. Take the exit ?Luzern Zentrum?. Go onto the right hand most lane after exiting the tunnel. Turn right (marker says ?Gütsch?), stay on the right lane. At the traffic light turn right and drive across the bridge ?Geissmattbrücke?. Just after the bridge turn right and drive through a small tower which is built across the road (St. Karlistrasse) . Drive along the river until the wooden bridge (left curve in the road, wooden bridge on the right). At the wooden bridge turn right (look for brown hotel markers) and you will come onto a square with a lot of parked cars (Mühlenplatz). Drive across the square. Ignore the no entry signs (you are allowed to drive in as hotel guests) and turn right immediately after the square. Second road left and then onto the Weinmarkt. The HOTEL DES BALANCES is on the right.
