The name "Les Chansonniers" is a tribute to the cabaret artists of Ménilmontant, such as Maurice Chevalier, Mistinguett, Jean Gabin and many others... There is still a mosaic which was part of the original Music Hall just 700 yards from the hotel. It is a a listed monument ! The hotel is also close to Père-Lachaise, which attracts a lot of tourists because a number of famous people are buried there. |
