Housed in a wonderful 19th-century building, the Hotel La Manufacture is one of the most pleasant hotels in the capital. The hotel was bought up just over a year ago by three very, dynamic women who gave the Hotel La Manufacture a much needed facelift. Walls were knocked down, lifts integrated, air-conditioning installed and a brand-new plumbing system installed. But most importantly the hotel has been stylishly redecorated. The creative minds responsible for the soft, natural colours and the careful attention to detail are part owner Bobette Compagnon, and a former colleague of the well-known British designer David Hicks. With oak floorboards, lamps especially-made in Spain, a collection of brightly-coloured paintings by local artist Alberto Cont, wicker chairs, cotton rugs, wooden furniture and baskets of flowers, Hotel La Manufacture really is a feast for the eyes. The inviting atmosphere compliments the decor making this an ideal hotel for your next visit to Paris. |
