We was waiting for worst when readed comments.But...On arrival we find that stuff friendly and positive.Rooms are renovated and looking nice.Furniture,beds and all the other things in the room is defenetely in OK.Bathroom seems was not renovated together with a room : (, but looking clean anyway.Our room was at the first floor near of reception but it was no noice due of double doors between us and reception. Just in 5 meters from our windows there are the bar (friendly service and good prices) and boulevard Magenta creating quite much of noice as well. But not a critical level of noice as we was expected after reading comments.Metro Republic is on 4 minutes walking distance from hotel and Metro Bonsergent is just 20 meters away.Daytime at place Republic surroundings there are dozen of homeless people sleeping on the ground, drinking or talking with a garbage bags.But nothing else that will be possible to call dangerous or looking bad. That is a normal place with a normal typical people living and as we are not aristocrats all was in ok for us : )
