Hotel Atlanta Frochot Paris

We were placed in a room on the wall ajacent to new construction and were disturbed early in the morning with chiseling and hammering from the new construction. But as for the rest of the stay it was OK.

We stayed in room 62. athere was 2 beds 1 single and 1 large.The single bed was good but the double was not so good.
The hotel staff were very friendly.WE enjoyed our stay
there and would go back again.

hormis le petit déjeuner trés léger : impossible d'obtenir plus d'1 croissant + 1 bout de pain + 1 mini-brioche. Beurre qui avait du souffrir de plusieurs cycles "rentrée de frigo-sortie de frigo".

We have stayed at this hotel for four years in a row now, and we always stay twice on the same holiday. Its our first and last stop as we come over to spend time in the South of France and it is always a relief to arrive there after our long journey from New Zealand to London direct (22 hours flying) followed by two hours on the Eurostar to Paris. Its a lovely old building and very warm and clean. Its proximity to the Metro and Gare du Nord makes it perfect for us as its only a ten euro taxi ride from the Gare du Nord (or a two euro metro ride if you are brave enough to get on the metro with a suitcase or two.) Breakfast is a bit uninteresting but its nice and fresh and its an ideal preparation for a day out shopping (put it this way - I wouldn't NOT have it). You can drink two pots of coffee if you so inclined and request more croissants etc. We really like the staff on reception who know us quite well now. Some rooms facing the street can be noisy at night and the smaller rooms can be a bit cramped but if you pay twenty more euros a night you can get a large room on the other side of the building which is very quiet. Its worth the extra. Just make sure you do your bookings with Cybevasion as the rate if you walk in off the street is quite different!
