Located 30 minutes from Thonon-les-Bains and approximately 1 hour from the Swiss border, the Neige Roc hotel was built in 1905 by the family Richard; it is now a cosy and charming 3-star hotel.

During winter the Neige-Roc hotel benefits from an ideal location right next to the cable car station that brings you up to the world renowned ski resort of Avoriaz.

From here you will be able to ski 650kms of tracks linking resorts in France and Switzerland. This area is called 'Portes du Soleil' and it is the biggest ski able domain in the world! During summer the Neige-Roc hotel is situated in the midst of nature, in a peaceful and wonderful landscape - the pastures of the French Alps.

Furthermore, for our more sportive guests, the area is the departure point for numerous walks and mountain biking trails. All along the trails you will encounter our typical French farms and chalets dotted amidst the alpine flora and fauna.

By Road: Alpine motorway, Thonon or Cluses exit (then direction Taninges, Les Gets, Morzine) at Morzine follow signs for 'téléphérique d'Avoriaz, Prodains village'.

By Train: TGV to Cluses or Thonon (30 km).

By Plane: Geneva-Cointrin airport (75 km) and then connection by bus (in winter only).
