Richard Lepage, a graduate of the hotelry school of Le Touquet, learnt his profession of Maître d' in the prestigious restaurants of Bernard Loiseau, Georges Blanc and Gérald Passédat at "Petit Nice". After 15 years managing "Le Bistro Gambas" in Marseille, he decided to bring his experience and his passion for wine to Le Grand Puech. Sébastien Marquet, a former assistant to Guillaume Sourieu at l'Épuisette (Marseille), brings all of his talent to bear on the local seasonal produce, meat and fish that he uses as the basis of his delicious dishes. The bedrooms at Le Grand Puech, two of which open onto terraces overlooking the Etoile mountain chain welcome guests for nature & relaxation weekend breaks.
Mimet, the highest village of the Bouches du Rhône département (512m) is in an ideal setting, just 30km from Marseille, 21km from Aix en Provence and 30km from Cassis. Exceptionally well exposed, facing the Etoile mountain chain, it has retained all of the charm of the villages of the region. Many pleasant walks depart from Mimet.
