Situated in the heart of the Velay region and of an invigorating nature, our establishment will offer you its authenticity and long history. In the old days it was a stopover for stage-coaches. The generations of members that have followed one another have faithfully enlarged it up to the present status of a hotel restaurant 2 chimneys 2 stars, the latest works of 2000-2001 having completed the normal adjustments up to the regional and European standards. Three 1930s style bedrooms and all the others, upgraded to the 2001 comfort, together with our local traditional cuisine are expecting you. Everything for you : nature, history and a welcoming atmosphere.
Montfaucon is situated half way between le Puy and Saint Etienne, on the edge of the Massif Central and at the crossroads of Vivarais, Cévennes, Forez and of course Velay. We are also in the province of Auvergne. You can find here everything of interest : religion, history, geology, culture, landscapes in a greenery setting.
