Away from the busy main roads, we are in a small village with a population of just 300, on the banks of the Burgundy Canal and next to lock gate n°79. A vast shaded terrace at the canal's edge allows you to take in the calm and charm of the countryside. The nearby river Amançon and its towpaths offer a range of delightful nature walks direct from the hotel. Enjoy a range of Burgundian specialities: poached eggs in red wine "meurette" sauce, Burgundy-style duck, ham and Chablis puff, blackcurrant tart. From Paris on the A6 motorway, exit "Auxerre-sud", turn left signposted "Chablis/Tonnerre". On leaving Ancy-le-Franc, after the chateau, turn left signposted "Chassignelles".
From Lyon on the A6 motorway, exit "Bièrre-les-Semurs", direction Montbard then Tonnerre, 20km after Montbard, at the entrance to the village of Fulvy, turn left signposted "Chassignelles".
