Hotel du Nord Annecy

Hotel de très bon niveau qualité prix. Seul inconvenient le parking. Mais ce n'est pas grave lorsqu'on est aussi bien accueillir. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

This hotel is well positioned within walking distance to the majority of tourist sights. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the railway station.

This hotel was excellent value for the money. It is in a very good location, just off a pedestrian walkway leading directly to the old city with its picturesque canals and buildings. The hotel provided a coupon for free overnight parking in a public parkade about a five minute walk from the hotel. Our room was spotless, quite spacious by European standards, and had a quiet, efficient air conditioner. The breakfast room was charming, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, one of the best we had during our three week stay in France, which included several three and four star hotels. Incidently, if you are expecting a four star hotel, with the corresponding amenities, this isn't it. The lobby is tiny, with basically just the reception desk next to a tiny elevator and stairway leading up to the rooms. However, the people at the desk (at least the two that we came in contact with) were very friendly and helpful. All in all, we can highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay there again and, in fact, we hope to do so on our next visit to France.
