Formerly "Le Concert du Commerce", this humble and picturesque hall already existed in 1850. It was a room of modest size (15 meters by 13), with gallery, taken on the initial volume of the Brasserie du Commerce, with which it communicated. The director, at that time, was called Guyon. The building belonged to Jean-Pierre Pivert. A garden decorated the places (between the theatre and the close modern building).
