Palosse is a very traditional old farm made of clay bricks and old wood, facing the Pyrénées, ideally located to discover the beautiful region full of trace of its rich history. It is not only the Cathare castles and vestiges, the Château de Foix nearby, the Capitouls culture and old roman churchs, but also the beauty of the Pyrénées with their crystal pure water lakes reachable after walking a few hours, that can occupy yours days.
The foothills are at 30 minutes and it takes about an hour and a half to go to Spain, Andorra or even to the Mediterranean sea! But if you prefer resting at home, you will also appreciate the long walks in the wild countryside full of birds and wildlife. The place is calm, confortable and ideal for family with children who are very welcome.
