From Paris, follow Autoroute A13 and continue in the direction of ROUEN.
Stay on A13 to Caen.
Once in CAEN, follow signs for Cherbourg : you will be on E46.
Arriving in Bayeux, exit E46 and follow signs for SAINT-LO.
Once in St Lo, take the direction for COUTANCES on route D972.
Continue on the one-lane-each-way road for about 15 kilometers, and you will pass "Carriere du Fut" on your left. Then take the first road on your right called "C", Le Lorey 2 kilometeres (if you see Belval, you have gone too far. turn around and come back).
Go down the rather narrow country lane, with hedgerows on both sides, and take the second right, that sports a sign "La Chaniere". Then drive 50 meters, turn left, and go up the hill. On your right, you will see a private duck pond. Keep going up the hill and at the top, you will find a lovely stone cottage with skylights and sliding glass patio doors with a deck. You’re here! .
