Renting Gite Neuvicq

This gite is newly renovated to a very high standard and has been given 3 stars by the local prefecture. It is 500 m from the lake at Beauvallon. The lake is in a marvellous wooded area, it has a sandy beach, pedal boats to hire and a restaurant. A large part of the lake is set aside for swimming and is especially suited for young children.
The gite is in the rolling Charente countryside with lots of marked footpaths and cycle routes. The nearby disused railway line has been resurfaced and has plenty of shade for leisurely cycling or walking. Some of the most beautiful villages in France are nearby : Aubeterre in the Dordogne with the dramatic underground church (30 km), Saint-Emilion with some of the most famous vineyards in the world (60 km) and Angouleme and Cognac in the Charente.

This is a quiet cottage in a hamlet of 4 houses 1 km from shops Montguyon.

It includes :
- on the ground floor : a large lounge/dining/kitchen with air conditioning, storage space and a toilet.
- on the first floor : three bedrooms (2 with double beds and one with two single beds) and a bathroom and a toilet.
- outside : sheltered parking area and a south facing terrace and garden with garden furniture.
