La Cadenède is a big house situated 4 km from the city center of Millau, on the South West side of the city, in the country. When you are in Millau, you must take the "Rue de la Croix Vieille" that is perpendicular to the railway , close to the Marcel Aymard secondary school. Then take the "Rue Auguste Monjols". You have to follow the "Stand de tir" roadsigns. Our house is 1,2 km after the Stand de Tir. The small road goes between 2 menhirs
By car :
- by A75 motorway, coming north from Clermont Ferrand, Lyon or Séverac le Château, or coming south from Béziers or Montpellier, you must go out on exit n° 45 Millau. If you are coming south, you will cross the Millau viaduct.
- by D999/D992, coming from Toulouse, Albi, Saint-Affrique
- by D907, coming from Gorges du Tarn, Rivière sur Tarn, Aguessac
- by D999, coming from St Jean du Bruel, Nant and les Gorges de la Dourbie

Nico, November 2010 (France) Note : 5/5 Le groupe entier, composé de 29 personnes, a beaucoup apprécié tant le lieu lui même que sa localisation, qui a permis la naissance d'un véritable esprit dans notre association. Le château, à travers sa multitude de chambres toutes aussi étonnantes les unes que les autres, a très bien convenu pour les nuits, pour les fêtes, mais aussi pour des moments plus conviviaux près de la cheminée ou dans la salle à manger. Château à recommander.

C'est la location idéale pour un groupe amateur de bonne chair et sportif. L'accueil est convivial et très disponible. Je recommande cette location sans aucunes réserves. Un souvenir inoubliable pour moi et mes amis.

Le coin et la vue sont superbes.Tout le monde a été enchanté , c''est très spacieux et chaleureux. Les propriéraires sont très sympas , ils font tout pour vous rendre votre séjour agréable et vous donnent une quantité d''adresses utiles (demandez Mr Fernandez il est génial).On espère tous y retourner

We are a group of 30-40 people which meets each year for one week to relaxing, eating and drinking at a pool.
Cadende was our fourth house/chateau we have rented so far in South France and it was the best of all! The mayor highlights of Cadenede are:
- Living in a medieval castle on the top of the valley with two great halls and a stunning inner courtyard.
- A really big pool with a unbelievable (!!!) view in the valley. Perfect for sundowners.
- A big kitchen with two big fidges and two stoves right beside the pool.
- Very much space for all activities (volleyball, badminton, retreating...)
- Just 10 min to a big grocery store (under the bridge), which has everything (e.g. fresh fish).
- No neighbours
- Very kind and skillfull caretaker (he doesn't live at the castle), who helps quickly!
Summary: A perfect spot!

Nous avons séjourné à la Cadenède en juillet 2010 et nous avons passé des vacances magnifiques. L'endroit est idyllique et la forteresse est très bien équipée, tout en gardant son charme. Perché sur une colline cette bâtisse vous offre une vue magnifique sur le viaduc et une tranquillité exceptionnelle. L'accueil par un membre de la famille propriétaire a été chaleureux et le petit souci avec le réglage de la piscine a été vite géré. Il y a assez de chambres et de salles de bains afin que chaque famille puisse profiter d'un coin à elle. La cuisine couverte près de la piscine est idéal pour passer des bon moments tous ensemble autour d'un bon repas. Le verdict des 5 familles était unanimement positif et nous avons d'ores et déjà réservé "notre château" pour une semaine en été 2012.
