Renting Gite Angliers La Rochelle

Our countryside property is situated in the village of Angliers, 15 minutes from the historic port of La Rochelle on the sunny west coast of France. This secluded 250 year old farmhouse, set in 5 acres of fields surrounded by hedgerow, is a safe & engaging environment for children of all ages, a calm and relaxing place for families & couples. You can explore many of the region's attractions, museums, sights, beaches and islands; all within a short drive from us, or just put your feet up and take it easy in a hammock or by the pool. There is a restaurant, bar & bakeries in the adjacent village of Nuille d’Aunis & within walking distance a Epicerie. The on-site amenities consist of; swimming pool with a heat pump, table tennis, badminton, paddle tennis, swings, slide, sand pit, sports area, covered toddlers play area, pool table, boules, cricket & darts. Our accommodations of four gites are different and unique, incorporating many of the original features of the old barn.

• MAISON Gite. 8/9 persons:
Outside: covered patio, picnic table, lawn with trees and BBQ over looking the playing field.
Inside: 1st bedroom: area 13m²' 140cm double bed, bedside tables and lamps and wardrobe.
2nd bedroom (1st flr mezzanine): area 12m², 140cm double bed, bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe and ceiling fan.
3rd bedroom: area 6m², 90cm bunk beds.
4th bedroom: area 17m2, Kitchenette with fridge, hob, sink, kettle, coffee machine*, microwave* and toaster*. Two 90cm single beds and large en-suite bathroom with presserlit shower seat* and toilet arm rest*.
Open plan kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, hob and pressure cooker.
Large lounge with an orginal stone wall, Bed settee, wood burner, Sat. TV and DVD player. Laptop connection.
Main Bathroom: large shower wc, basin and washing machine.

• ECURIE Gite; 6/8 persons.
Outside: there is a fenced patio and lawn with parasol, BBQ and picnic table overlooking the playing field.
Inside: Bedroom 1: area 13sq.m, 140cm double bed, bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: area 12sq.m, two 90cm single beds, bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe.
Bedroom 3 (Studio) Area 20sq.m, kitchenette with breakfast table, fridge, hob, sink, kettle, coffee machine*, microwave* & toaster*. 140cm double bed, bed settee, wardrobe, TV, DVD and en-suite bathroom. Separate entrance.
Living room is decorated in a traditional way and shows some of the old ecurie's stones and beams. There is also TV, DVD player and Sat TV. The kitchen is open plan with dishwasher, oven, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, pressure cooker, kettle and toaster plus UK satellite TV and DVD player.
Bathroom with shower, basin, wc and washing machine.

• DUPLEX Gite; 4/5 persons
Outside: private fenced garden with BBQ and swing over looking fields and trees.
Inside: Living room with exposed breams, open plan kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster plus UK satellite TV and DVD player. Bathroom with shower, basin and wc. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has a double and a single bed. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. Ideal for 2 couples or a couple with 1-3 children.

• PUCE Gite; 2/4 persons
Outside: there is a fenced patio & lawn with BBQ & picnic table which overlooks the playing field.
Inside: Living room is decorated in a traditional way and shows some of the old ecurie's stones and beams. an open plan kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle & toaster plus UK satellite TV & DVD player. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a double bed settee in the lounge making it perfect for a couple or a family with 1 older child or 2 small children.
