Villa Les Martinets - Gorges d'Héric, Massif du Caroux

Incroyable rencontre qui nous a fait oublier notre quotidien. On ne pouvait pas mieux tomber. Paul, « crazy english man » comme il s’est présenté à la fin du séjour, est un homme charmant et son thé est délicieux.

It was a pleasure to stay with Paul and Mr. Charles, a very warm man. My GPS (of my motor) was broken and in the late hours Paul manage to fix it. Unfortunatly it was too cold to swim, but in the coming months you can also enjoy the pool with lights and music. Thanks Paul!

J'ai passé 5 nuits aux Martinets et j'en garderai toujours de bons souvenirs.
J'étais là-bas à la recherche d'un logement (pas en tant que touriste), donc je ne savais pas combien de temps j'allais rester.
Cela ne dérangeait pas Charles qui se faisait chaque jour un plaisir que je lui dise si je restais le soir ; Le prix de location est vraiment bas, l'hébergement parfait ; Je me suis senti chez moi dès le début ; Très bon hôte, Charles est toujours souriant et agréable.
Je recommanderais la location à ceux qui souhaitent venir dans la région.

Très chaleureux, jolie jardin, activité relaxante.

This accommodation was just unbelievable, the owner is the linchpin of the place.
First the place, it's quiet, it's green, it's beautiful and if you go in the garden beyond the light & sound pool you have a nice view on the village. I get to live in the appartement (which is fully equipped for disabled persons needing a wheelchair) and it's pretty, the bed is good and the place is fully equiped.
The pool is... well... it's the Martinets's pool and i think she is unique in the world, highly equiped with heavy soud system and crazy lasers & lights effects, we can perceive here the dedication of the owner and his passion for the light show, really it's juste beyond the words.
The owner is a kind of light genius with a solid background on lights science, he chopps his wood for the winter, he had an amazing book collection and thousands of electronical devices (for the & sound magic you know). He gave me fresh eggs from his own chicken coop, they were just perfect, you can literally feel the quality and sanity of the eggs.
The dog, named Charles of course, is such an atta boy, always queit and happy.

Really it was such an amazing place to live during my climbing trip, a nest full of kindness and quite an experience for all the senses.

Paul welcomed us in this beautiful house. The view is astonishing, and the place is huge and allow you to relax. You may also have a nice swim in the pool. Paul did also an amazing job with the lights, which is perfect for partying at night.
Last but not least, Charles is an adorable dog and you can shake his paw.

En logeant à la villa Les Martinets, préparez vous à un voyage dans une autre dimension ! Notre hôte fantasque Paul vous parle en anglais et vous présente sa grande maison à la décoration digne d'un téléfilm britannique ainsi que ses bricolages farfelues, avec comme pièce maitresse l'incroyable piscine aux milles lampes, lasers, projections, machine à fumée et sound system pour des soirées endiablées et rafraichissantes ! Merci pour ce moment relaxant et amusant (et le spa, quel bonheur) :) Thank you for your kindness and hospitality
