The magnificent Kerveguen cottage, which has three bedrooms with two independent mezzanines (in bedrooms 1 and 2), is located in an old 18th century farmhouse, in a south-facing hamlet. Only 5 minutes from the leisure center for all and 9 km from the ski resort of Orcières, the chalet is divided into three independent lodgings, very quiet with a splendid view of the Champsaur valley, at the gates of the Ecrins National Park for your hikes. The magnificent Kerveguen cottage is a duplex, three bedrooms, two of which have a mezzanine, with a capacity of 2 to 8 people. Possibility to rent the Cilaos cottage or the Colorado cottage in addition if there are more of you.

Handcrafted in solid larch wood. Synonymous with authenticity, the kitchen is fully equipped with crockery and utensils, with classic filter 4 coffee maker, microwave, oven, gas and electric hob, toaster, dishwasher. The cottage is heated on your arrival depending on the season. The stove is powerful and easy to use with wood available. Linen and sheets not provided.

For cleaning, the gîte must be kept clean, the dishes put away and the bins emptied. The gîte is very well insulated.
Toilets are available on both floors.

The first bedroom located south is made up of a double bed. The south mezzanine (accessed by the south bedroom) is made up of two mattresses on the floor 1 place in 80.

The second bedroom located west is composed of a double bed in 140 and a single bed in 80.
The west mezzanine (accessed from the west bedroom) is made up of two mattresses on the floor for 1 place in 80.
The third bedroom located east is composed of a double bed in 140 and a single bed in 90.
The living room has two single beds in 70 which act as a sofa.

The sun is a major asset when you come to the Southern Alps. The gites of Alibrande are exposed due south and the sunshine is unlimited, all year round. The calm and tranquility in the hamlet are very much appreciated and the view of the valley is exceptional. The lodgings (Cilaos, Colorado, Kerveguen) are ideally placed between the Champoléon valley and Prapic at the foot of the Ecrins National Park, which will allow you to make the most of a whole range of sports and other activities.

The Alibrande gîtes are at the heart of an exceptional hiking site with the Champoléon and Prapic valleys, the high-altitude lakes of Orcières, larch forests. The outings are very varied in duration and elevation and can be adapted to all levels.

I can advise you according to your desires for outings. Without taking the car, leave directly from the gîtes with a set of circuits in the forest, in aerial balconies or along the Drac river.

The GPS address to come to the gîte is Les Tourrengs 05170 Orcières
The building is located towards the top of the hamlet 200 meters before the chapel and just before the large car park.
The house is all in stone, there is a fountain in the courtyard.
The Kerveguen gîte is located on the top of the chalet, you have to walk along the grassy path to access the front door which cannot be seen from the bottom.
