Charming sheepfold, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, which can accommodate a maximum of 8 adults plus 2 children.

HOUSING
Come and recharge your batteries in our sheepfold in the heart of nature, in the mountains, in the Hautes-Pyrénées.
We have restored it to make it a holiday home for our whole family.
We have furnished it with love and taste, all in wood inside, decorated with mountains.
Our sheepfold is adjoining an unoccupied fairground barn.
We rent for a capacity of 8 to 10 people (8 adults and 2 children in the mezzanines)

we have 4 rooms
- bedroom 1 with a large 160 bed and its bathroom area
- bedroom 2 with a large 140 bed and a mezzanine where you cannot walk upright with a bed for children
- bedroom 3 with a large 140 bed and a mezzanine where you cannot walk upright with a bed for children
A bathroom WC upstairs for the 2 bedrooms

On the ground floor, a large convivial room of 70 m² with kitchen area, lounge area and dining area with a large table.
On the ground floor: WC and sink area.

As the family grew, we created a 40 m² extension full of charm with a thatched roof to keep the authenticity of the old thatched sheepfolds.
New entrance: WC on the ground floor, laundry room
On the ground floor: a bedroom 4 with a large 160 bed with its own walk-in shower.
Upstairs: a reading corner with an additional WC also accessible from the old part.
You can eat outside on a large table facing the mountain view.
The capacity of the sheepfold cannot be exceeded, the number of people indicated when booking must be respected.

We love animals very much but we cannot accept them because we are in a mountain pastoral area with sheep, cows, llamas roaming free.

Do not bring any household products, we leave them at your disposal
For the cleaning either you do it before leaving the sheepfold or we offer you a person who comes to do it for you for an amount of 100 € to be paid on site.

We rent a few weeks from May to October
We never rent in winter because the path is often snowy
We are on a plateau above the village of La Séoube
At the end of the grassy road, you are surrounded by nature.
A little paradise!
Without noise in the pastoral zone, only the cowbells of sheep, cows and donkeys on the mountain in front of the Sheepfold and some sheepfolds in the surroundings.
You leave on foot from the Sheepfold for hikes.
We are in the middle of the Col du Tourmalet and the Col d'Aspin, cycling friends you will be delighted.
By car in 20 minutes you can visit Bagnères-de-Bigorre, a small authentic Pyrenean town (very beautiful golf course / thermal baths / Aquensis fun thermal baths / local market …)
In 15 min you can go up to La Mongie Tourmalet and take the cable car to the Pic de Midi de Bigorre (Observatory / Planetarium and a fantastic 360° view of all the Pyrenees)
For children there are several tree climbing centres, canyoning, tandem gliding… animal parks.

Passenger access
Bagnères-de-Bigorre, Sainte-Marie-de-Campan, La Séoube.
Before the La Séoube exit sign, between the 2 houses, take a road to the right towards Le Sarrat de Bon / Pradilles.
500 meters above at the T turn right towards Le Sarrat de Bon.
To access our Sheepfold, at the end of the paved road which you go up to Sarrat de Bon, you will arrive by car by a magnificent grassy path (no problem driving slowly)
Go 700 m to the thatched sheepfold on your left
There you will have an exceptional view of the mountains, tranquility, beauty of the landscape: a little corner of paradise in the mountains.
In the evening, you may be lucky enough to see the big deer with its hinds.
