True memory of the arsenal of Toulon he retains the majestic monumental gateway dated 1738, the museum illustrates the maritime tradition in the Mediterranean by an exceptional collection of model ships and galleys. Collections trace the evolution of the port since the wooden shipbuilding of the eighteenth century until the advent of steam battleships and naval vessels of the twentieth century. Two models spectacular, the frigate La Sultana at 1:10 and The Duquesne, 74-gun ship of the 1/12th. Closer to home, we will monitor the Navy steam and armor. Various works also reflect the history of the port and the harbor and set the highlights of the Navy of the Levant.
