Since its inauguration in 1993, the Museum of Carpets and Textile Arts of Clermont-Ferrand has the ambition to present and to devote his research to the textile arts. The carpet is rarely an object for museums, it is nevertheless one of the essential elements of cultures. From the Caucasus to the Atlas of Isfahan in Bamako, these sources provide a better understanding of the civilizations presented. It is through the enjoyment and contemplation that the museum offers novices and enthusiasts, to deepen their knowledge of the Eastern world, and Far Eastern traditions.
