Founded in 1965 by the General Council of Seine Maritime, the museum houses an exceptional collection of furniture high-Norman tracing the evolution of styles from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century. Ethnography of the regions of Haute-Normandie is presented in the guise of domestic farm restored with furniture and objects of daily life in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The top floor of the castle evokes the history of textiles and costume in Normandy with paintings, jewelry and headdresses regional nineteenth century. In common, a rich agricultural collection is visible to visitors.
