Pannecière lake or lake-reservoir-Pannecière Fairlead is an artificial lake located in the department of Nievre in Burgundy, in the western part of the natural region of Morvan. Its area is 520 hectares, with a capacity of 82.5 hm³. It lies at the confluence of the Yonne and Houssière.
The lake and dam were built between 1937 and 1949 to protect indirectly, through its tributary of the Yonne, the city of Paris floods caused by the Seine, like that of 1910. This makes it both the oldest and smallest of the large lakes of the Seine and the largest and one of the most recent large lakes of the Morvan.
