XIII-XVIII inhabited castle and park classified as "Historic Monuments"
At the foot of the famous plateau of Gergovie, lovely as a print, sitting on the edge of a green river, the building is surrounded by French gardens designed by Le Nôtre. Its ponds and basins, the charm of its rock caves and its maze of greenery, the famous avenue leading to four waterfalls are the building and its park, a harmonious whole.
Built from the fifteenth to the eighteenth century, the castle offers a nice suite of rooms decorated with frescoes and tapestries are presented some interesting pieces of furniture of the sixteenth, seventeenth and XVIIIèmesiècles. The studio of the painter Jean de Chateauneuf Auvergne, uncle of the owners, opened to the public a beautiful collection of paintings.
