Keen on History ? If the Centre area was thus named, this is not by chance : it is the historical cradle of the kingdom of France (with its famous Valley of the Kings). So, it is a quite legitimate homage. Over your excursions, you could visit some beautiful castles (and their gardens) at the edge of the Loire and, places more ignored and surprising like the Museum of Sorcery or, quite simply, you could walk in splendid under woods.
