Tancarville Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Seine between Tancarville (Seine-Maritime) and the Marais-Vernier (Eure).
Started in 1955 on an idea in 1933, he was commissioned in 1959 and then the bridge closest to the estuary (since then has been built downstream, the Normandy Bridge).
In 1959, he had the longest main span in Europe, 608 meters. It was one of the first projects of this magnitude taking place without a fatal accident. Its opening led to the disappearance of the tray between Hode Berville-sur-Mer in Normandy at Hode in the Seine-Maritime, this tray, war damage, was deemed to be "inconvenient."
It is managed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Le Havre.
