Pont de Normandie

Located on the estuary of the Seine, the Pont de Normandie motorway provides continuity between northern Europe and the southwest.

After six years of work, the Normandy Bridge was commissioned Jan. 22, 1995.

Technological feat, designed to withstand wind gusts of over 180 km / h, the Normandy Bridge held the world record cable-stayed bridges (856 m central span) before being overtaken by the Tatara Bridge in Japan in 1999.
From Honfleur, it is possible to make a short cruise to see the Pont de Normandie by browsing in the Bay of Seine.
