In September 1997, Ninkasi, then composed of a pub restaurant and brewery, moved the heart of the Gerland district, in the 7th district of Lyon.
Building on the success of musical activity established from the outset, managers rely on more skilled players in the music sector and associations. The program, headed by 'Hublot Production' - now 'Kao Konnection', then takes a real boom.
But flip side, the Kafé becomes too small and the reception conditions are not optimal. The construction of a concert hall, the Ninkasi Kao, is essential in 2000, with the aim of creating a synergy between the two places: the Gerland and Ninkasi Ninkasi Kao.
