Musée Sully

Located in the former Hotel Sully, this museum through works and objects presented, the history of Châtellerault: Gallo-Roman, knives, weapons, pottery patronymic of Nevers, La Rochelle, Rodolphe Salis and his Montmartre cabaret the Black Cat, caps and old costumes, an amazing collection of carved chair backs. One room is devoted entirely to the Acadians of Canada from Poitou, while another will present Descartes in the seventeenth century and Châtellerault.
