With more than fifteen thousand objects, two million photographs, a library and a documentation unique technique, the French Museum of Photography brings one of the largest European collections. It reflects the history of combined technical and social uses of photography. The museum was founded by John and Andrew Fage. Enthusiasts, they were able to meet very early witnesses to the history of photography and opened a museum association in 1960. This association, causing the current museum, actively participates in the scientific council of the institution and carries out actions that contribute to its success.
