The Museum of Noyon is housed in the former bishop's palace. Sold to the National Revolution as well, the municipality bought the first in January 1863 in order to install a botanical garden, museum and library. Destroyed by fire in August 1918, the building was restored by Andre Collin, Chief Architect of Historic Monuments. Shortly after the completion (1938), the installation of the museum begins. On August 9, 1948, he was officially inaugurated. Completely refurbished in 1996, a modern museum that now offers the visitor. The former palace of the Bishops-counts of Noyon now houses the museum of Noyon. Located south of the cathedral, it consists of the remains of a chapel of the twelfth century, a Renaissance pavilion and a wing of the seventeenth century was rebuilt after the war of 14.
