The collections in Solutré give a complete overview of the different research done on the site since its discovery. We can see the pieces together revealed by prehistorians of the late nineteenth century, A. Arcelin, H. Ferry, Father Ducrost, and those from recent excavations undertaken by Jean Combier between 1967 and 1978.
