Musée Départemental d'Art Contemporain

The museum is located in the castle of Rochechouart since 1985. Representative sets of Arte Povera, Land art, the German School and video installations are one of the largest collections of contemporary art in France. Some works were created specifically for the museum giving rise to a rich dialogue between the creation of today and the architecture of the past.
