Musée de La Princerie

The Hotel de la Princerie is an elegant Renaissance building at the location of the house of Prince's (the highest dignitary of the diocese after the bishop), partly rebuilt after the Great War. It houses the Museum of Art and History since 1932. Collections: Archaeology (Prehistory and Early History of the Paleolithic to the Neolithic and Metal Age, Gallo-Roman and Merovingian), History (The Middle Ages The town of Verdun and identity), Furniture (Rustic furniture Lorraine), Sculpture (stone , wood), pottery and porcelain (French-Argonne-, Dutch, English, Chinese and Japanese), Military (weapons and military equipment).
