Coming from 18 veterans organizations, strong and deported, the museum opened in 1989 has a period in the history of France as seen through world events. It highlights the ongoing struggle of the Resistance for the Liberation of the country and the dignity of human beings. Originally designed as a traveling exhibition by former deportees it is now housed in a former école.Les visitors can discover the facts of local history and the fate of those who marked their actions.
