Musée d'Aquitaine

The museum presents the history of Aquitaine in Bordeaux and its region, from prehistory to the 20th century. Of about 700 000 pieces, the museum's collections are distributed in three main areas: archeology, history and ethnography. Exposed on 5000 m2, they are presented in a chronological and thematic emphasis, as appropriate, the metropolis, the Bordelais or the various departments of Aquitaine.
