Located 30 rue des Marchands, Colmar, Bartholdi museum preserves the most significant collections of sketches, models, sculptures, but also drawings, photographs and paintings by Auguste Bartholdi (Colmar, August 2, 1834 - Paris, October 4, 1904), creator of "Liberty Enlightening the World" built in New York, one of the major representatives of statuary art of the nineteenth century.
