The mill was built overlooking the strike Paimpol. It also offers a beautiful view on the island of Brehat. By its dominant position, it is bitter for the sailors.
It was completely restored in 1993. A visit inside is very pretty and can be seen as operating a traditional mill. This is the only survivor of the 12 mills that were the town.
