In 1974 establishment of an inter-union to create a body of water. In 1985, the General Council of the Lot entered the draft county interest among its priorities and has the support of Europe and the Midi-Pyrenees. Work is carried out in 1989. Summer 1990, the water is running.
Its area is 38 ha, elevation 530 m.
The enchanting Lake Tolerme is the ideal place to enjoy the richness of nature. Hiking trails are marked for the boldest.
