Salagou Lake is a reservoir of the dam Salagou. It is located in the center of the department of Herault, Salagou River, a tributary of the river which flows into Lergue Herault.
The lake has flooded some of the common l'Hérault Clermont-east, south Liausson, Octon west, and those to the north. The water level is about 140 m above sea level. The lake is dominated by mountains and plateaus rising to 300 m east and up to 407 m for the Carels west.
