La Serre de la Madone

Built between 1919 and 1939 by Major Lawrence Johnston's garden Serre de la Madone provides an exceptional botanical collection. Johnston is acclimated species from around the world, some of which are now the only known copies. Beyond his interest in botany, Serre de la Madone is a remarkable example of landscaping with ponds and fountains that create a calm and preserved.
