Ecomusée de Marie-Galante

The house Murat is the seat of the Living Museum of Marie-Galante, museum and controlled under the responsibility of the General Council of Guadeloupe. His name is unrelated to the family of the brother of Napoleon 1st. This great house of neo-classical style, was the richest house on the island. After suffering much damage, it was partly restored in 1978 to become the center of the Living Museum of Marie Galante.
