Château La Trémolière

Located in the town of Salers Anglards, the castle built in the fifteenth century was the seat of a lordship belonging to the family of Montclar. In both stories are set ten greens of FANTASTIC MONSTERS sixteenth century, classified as historic monuments, discovered earlier this century by the parish priest and restored in 1926. These tapestries are of exceptional surplus bestiary as naive as picturesque, but unicorns, dragons, "cabbage leaves", villages and castles, the whole forming a warm standing out perfectly fine painted on the woodwork of the eighteenth century.


Visit of the orchard Deducted: Contemporary garden of medieval inspiration, labeled "Remarkable Garden". The castle garden of Trémolière was born of the marriage between the imaginary pictorial collection of tapestries "The fantastic bestiary" and imagination of the precious wrote "The Romance of the Rose."
